Even in death, he still made a mark when he was the one who ignited Achilles to fight once again. He made a mark by leading Achilles’ men to combat. He made a mark by fighting with Hector at the end and dying with honor after the hard battle. I wondered what if he lived? What if he killed Hector and it was him who was the man who donned his king’s armor and lived after fighting a prince of Troy?
Definitely still like the epic when Patroclos wins but I would like to see him turn on Achilles. Achilles has turned Patroclos into a great student but did not want him to fight. Therefore, when Achilles is sleeping, Patroclos will don his uniform and disobey his orders like in the book, but when he fights Hector, he will win then his pride will go up. He will challenge Achilles and learn that his master is still better. Still, with Achilles distracted, Troy will be invaded and get the others killed like Achilles and Agamemnon yet successfully capturing Troy under the hands of Odysseus, ending the war of Troy and Achaians. That is my version of the story.
